KENNEDY TO HOST EXPORT FORUM FOR LOCAL BUSINESSES
Newton, MA – Next Wednesday, Congressman Joe Kennedy III will partner with the U.S. Department of Commerce and the South Coast Development Partnership at UMass Dartmouth to host a 4th District Export Forum for local businesses. Attendees will learn about the broad range of federal programs available to help companies with their international business efforts and have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with government officials to answer questions and gain feedback.
“Many business owners are simply not aware of how valuable a resource the federal government can be in getting their newest venture off the ground. The benefits of this collaborative forum are two-fold—we hear from our local business owners and better understand the challenges they face, and they, in turn, hear what programs we have in place to help them clear those hurdles. I’m looking forward to the Export Forum and learning more about what we can do to help our regional economy thrive.”
