Washington, D.C. – Today Congressman Joe Kennedy III’s Fair Care for Kids Act passed the House Energy & Commerce Committee as part of larger mental health legislation. Kennedy’s bill would correct a conflict in current federal law to ensure children covered by Medicaid have access to both the mental and physical health care they need.
