CONGRESSMAN KENNEDY STATEMENT ON AFFORDABLE CARE ACT ANNIVERSARY
Newton, MA – Congressman Joe Kennedy III released the following statement today in honor of the third anniversary of the Affordable Care Act:
“Three years ago this country found a way to come together and say no person should be denied the right to affordable, accessible health care. From a hard-fought battle, we emerged a better country. The work we began back then is far from done. No piece of legislation is a magic wand. The Affordable Care Act is a seminal and strong foundation for the kind of health care system this country deserves. It’s up to each of us in the months and years ahead to protect, develop and strengthen what we started.”
