CONGRESSMAN KENNEDY STATEMENT ON RESIGNATION OF LT GOVERNOR TIM MURRAY
WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Joe Kennedy III today released the following statement in response to the resignation of Massachusetts Lieutenant Governor Tim Murray.
“Tim Murray spent his years in the State House championing a government that works for real people. Never one to sit behind a desk, he has been in the trenches of every corner of our Commonwealth – listening to our veterans, mentoring our students, studying our Gateway Cities and connecting tirelessly with the people he was so honored to represent. In his new position with the Worcester Chamber of Commerce Tim will return to his roots and the city he loves. I know that he will continue to play an active role in our state’s economic development, and I look forward to working with him in the future.”
