Questions President Trump’s misleading claims about the outbreak

Washington, D.C. – As the Trump Administration struggles to coordinate a response to the coronavirus, Congressman Joe Kennedy III today demanded answers on the conflicting messages from numerous officials and misleading claims from the President himself. At an emergency hearing convened by the Energy & Commerce Committee, Kennedy asked Trump Administration officials, including Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Anthony Fauci, M.D., and Centers for Disease Control Director Robert Redfield, M.D. if they agreed with the President that this crisis will simply go away.
