Statement from Congressman Kennedy on Humanitarian Crisis in Gaza

President Trump has broken his promise to end the war in Gaza. Hamas continues to hold innocent people hostage because of his ineffective diplomacy. His strategic and moral failure has led to deteriorating conditions, with new reports and images of mass starvation of Palestinians. This is completely unacceptable. No one should ever die of hunger, especially children.

The Trump administration’s foreign policy has hurt our relationship with our allies, damaged our standing on the international stage, and most importantly, it has put the lives of innocent people at risk both at home and abroad.

The United States must lead, work collaboratively with the Israeli government, the United Nations, and the broader international community to ensure an immediate surge of aid into Gaza to prevent further starvation and suffering. The Israeli and Palestinian people deserve to live with dignity, security, and peace.

This war must end.
