Community Project Funding and Appropriations Requests

Our office’s Fiscal Year 2026 Program and Language Appropriations request process is now open – please see the relevant section below for additional information.

Unfortunately, our office is not able to accept Community Project Funding requests for Fiscal Year 2026 – please see the relevant section below for more information.

Community Project Funding Requests

Unfortunately, when the House Majority passed the temporary government funding bill known as a Continuing Resolution that funds the government through 9/30/2025, they did not include any FY25 Community Project Funding. That means that none of the 15 Community Projects that we had solicited during the FY25 process and submitted for inclusion in the government funding bill were included in the bill or able to move forward.

Given these circumstances, my office has made the difficult decision to resubmit our FY25 Community Projects into the FY26 Community Project Funding process. As a result, we will not be able to accept new applications for FY26. This is an unfortunate and frustrating development, as it means 15 new projects will not have the opportunity to receive funding. Unfortunately, this situation stems from the Majority’s decision to exclude Community Project Funding from this year’s government funding bill. We are hopeful that the FY26 process will proceed under regular order, allowing us to once again solicit new Community Project Funding requests for FY27 in the spring of 2026.
