Every child in Western New York and across the United States deserves access to a high-quality education that prepares them for the opportunities and challenges of the 21st century. By equipping our students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed, we lay the foundation for a future where our workforce is competitive, our economy is strong, and our communities thrive. As a New York State Senator, Rep. Kennedy secured investments in education and increased funding for our schools. He led the fight to eliminate the Gap Elimination Adjustment (GEA), which unfairly slashed billions from our public schools. By ending the GEA, New York State restored critical funding to districts in need and helped close the inequities that were holding students back. Now in Congress, Rep.
